Goodyear Wrangler

The older version of Chevy Silverado had Goodyear Wrangler tires, which is a total garbage IMO. Those tires are so loud and the sidewall is way too soft and thin. If you don't want to have a headache because of that tire noise, don't be greedy and buy a better set of tires!

After all this hate to Goodyear Wrangler, I realized that 2019 Silverado on those spied photos has the same freaking tires!!! How many more bad reviews does Chevrolet need to stop using Wranglers???

Chevy probably has an ongoing contract with Goodyear to use their tires on their vehicles so they can buy tires in bulk for cheap. It's going to suck for a while, but I can't justify throwing a new set of factory tires to replace them with something else. Maybe I'll look into other options once the original set wears out.

Do you have any alternatives in mind?

Well, I would like to see Michelin on Silverado. For example, their Defender model would be a way better option IMO than Wranglers.
